Light crude oil prices settle below USD 67 a barrel - Monday

WTI light crude oil prices fell on Monday even as the year`s first hurricane threatened grow in size before it heads toward the US coast.

Light sweet crude oil for September delivery lost 76 cents to settle at USD 66.75 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. On Tuesday's open, light crude is current trading around a dollar up at USD 67.44.
