OPEC should not change oil output quotas when it meets next week, said Angola’s oil minister, who heads the cartel, according to state media.

Oil minister Jose Maria Botelho de Vasconcelos said “the current quota system should not undergo any changes,” according to the official Angop news agency. He was speaking Wednesday on the sidelines of the swearing in of new ministry officials, Angop said.

OPEC is due to meet in Vienna on September 9.
